Holding the Line
Set on the southern Gold Coast, Holding the Line follows Elsie — a capable, reliable teenager who quietly carries responsibility at home, at school, and in the family business after the loss of her mum.
As pressure builds through everyday situations, Elsie begins to notice the moments where pausing matters — and where choosing not to step in can be just as important as helping.
Through family, routine, and small but significant decisions, Elsie learns that: responsibility has limits, pausing is a form of choice, boundaries don't need explanation, and staying steady can be enough.
The story avoids diagnosis or instruction. Instead, it shows how noticing pressure, allowing space, and choosing restraint can support agency, self-trust, and quiet resilience.
